So lately I have been really down in the dumps. 

Since my mom is in the military, she has to deploy and live and work in different countries for periods of time.  My mom left last month and it has been really hard on me and my little sister.  The last time my mom had to deploy was when I was in 8th grade, so yea i as beeen a long time and I am still not used to it.  Even though I have my moms friends and my family and fiance to count on, the point is that she will not be around for 6months.  Even though she will not miss any major holidays, she will miss me and my two sisters birthdays which really suck because birthdays are big in my family. I think my younger sister is taking it harder than me being that the last time my mom delopyed, she just turned 1 so it really was not a big deal for her.  But her knowing that mommy wont return until October, really bums her out.  Being that I am one of the oldest, I am trying to spend alot of time with her and do alot of activities just to get her mind off of mom.  I really miss my mom but I know I have to be mature about the situation we are in and try to make the best out of it.
